Seasonal Shoreline Change

Perhaps the most widely utilized method of exploring coastal evolution is looking at shoreline change. Systems evolve at a wide range of time scales, with short terms trends often masking the influence of long term trends without a lengthy record change data. My preferred method of characterizing coastal morphology and corresponding morphology change has been through the use of RTK GPS methods.

In a recent regional study, our data was explore utilized to explore shoreline change patterns during a major El Nino event.
